A while back, a operating room technician from the local hospital emailed me his injury history and complaints, asking what I thought could be wrong. His doctor and diagnosed him with muscle tear and/or muscle spasm and sent him for physical therapy, yet, 4 months later he was no better. Based on his descriptors, I concluded that his diagnosis required that I perform a physical examination and my disc screening. When he came in, I discovered that he was suffering from a disc bulge or disc herniation so I sent him for an MRI, which confirmed my findings. In fact, he had 3 bulging discs.
We began decompression and laser therapy and 4 weeks later, this he was completely pain free and back to lifting patients at the hospital without any residual pain.
