Dr. Devin Hatch

Dr. Devin Hatch is the newest member of our team. He graduated from the University of Western States School of Chiropractic in Portland, OR.

Devin grew up in northern Colorado. He spent his childhood through teen years enjoying sports, scouting and exploring the beautiful state of Colorado. Basketball was his favorite sport growing up and he still enjoys shooting around on the court any chance he gets.

Following high school Devin worked with his father in his dental practice. I’m 2008 He served a mission in New York City for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. After returning frm his mission he met his wife Amanda. They married in 2010 and soon after found themselves drawn to southern Utah while passing through on a road trip. They moved to St. George in 2011 and Devin transferred to Dixie State University.

 

During his schooling at Dixie State Devin worked for a local dentist in town and was working towards applying to dental school. In the fall of 2013 Devin, Amanda and their new baby boy were involved in a traumatic car accident that left them with various injuries. This was when Devin was introduced to the world of chiropractics. This sparked an interest in chiropractic for Devin. After researching the field and speaking to local chiropractors and various chiropractic colleges he made the decision to change his education path.

In the spring of 2015 Devin applied to the University of Western States. Was accepted and moved his family to the Portland area to start his education in Chiropractics.
At the University of Western States he completed his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, Master of Science in Sports Medicine and Doctor of Chiropractic.

During his time at UWS Devin was able to work with a wide range of patients. He was able to work with high school, ammateur and professional athletes at various events. Among his favorite was working at and treating patients at professional sand volley ball tournaments in Seaside, Or. & Treating professional bull riders at the PBR. 

Devin has developed a passion for learning to treat patients with traumatic brain injuries, chronic illnesses such as fibromyalgia, chronic pain syndrome and Crohn’s disease.
He is developing a talent in Kenisio taping methods while working with athletes and using cupping and instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation (Graston) techniques.

Devin’s and his family have recently relocated to St. George, UT. Devin and his wife Amanda have 2 young children, a boy and a girl. They love the warmth of southern Utah.
